Twitter Anywhere

Twitter annuncia oggi una nuova piattaforma. Anywhere. Forte il focus sulle API del Social Network che ha stretto diversi accordi con dealer e media partner per incrementare la propria presenza direttamente nei siti di terze parti.  Ed in particolare: Amazon, AdAge, Bing, Citysearch, Digg, eBay, The Huffington Post, Meebo, MSNBC.com, The New York Times, Salesforce.com, Yahoo! e YouTube.

Come funziona? Appare subito chiaro. 

Imagine being able to follow a New York Times journalist directly from her byline, tweet about a video without leaving YouTube, and discover new Twitter accounts while visiting the Yahoo! home page—and that’s just the beginning. Twitter has proven to be compelling in a variety of ways. With @anywhere, web site owners and operators will be able to offer visitors more value with less heavy lifting

Di primo acchito tanto mi ha ricordato l'introduzione degli RSS nel modo in cui concepivamo il web prima. Chissà se anche altre realtà saranno brave a capire questo.
